Exercise In The Park

This month we’re kicking off our eighth year of Exercise in the Park, a program offered by the Cedars-Sinai Healthy Habits team.

This free summer series brings daily workout classes to local parks with a variety of exercises from trained instructors. The classes will be taking place daily Monday through Thursday 8:30-9:30 am, June 10 through August 1.

Classes include Zumba-like sessions, as well as aerobic and strength training activities. Each one-hour class starts with an energizing warm-up and ends with a gentle cool down.

No sign-up is necessary. All are welcome—just drop by and join in!

While the workouts are designed for adults, participants of all fitness levels and ages are welcome to attend. Instructors will offer modifications throughout so activities can be tailored for individual skill levels.

“We’re so happy to be back for another year offering a safe and supportive space for community members to exercise,” says Carolyn Buenaflor, associate director of Healthy Habits.
