Summer is great time to get up, get outside, and get moving. That’s why for the sixth year in a row, the Cedars-Sinai Healthy Habits program is proud to offer summer workout series Exercise in the Park.

The classes offer activities like Zumba, cardio kickboxing, and strength training with trained instructors. Each one-hour session begins with a warm-up and ends with a gentle cool down.

Classes kicked off this morning with the help of former Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Eric Karros. Don’t worry if you missed this week—the classes will be taking place weekdays 8:30-9:30 am, now through August 4.

While the workouts are targeted for adults, all are welcome to join in.

“Many moms come to the park with their children and most of the kids end up playing in the playground while their mom works out,” says Carolyn Buenaflor, associate director of Healthy Habits. “So either way, everyone is moving!”
